A credit line is a short-term credit exposure designed to fund the needs for working capital in a certain period of time. This credit exposure is not linked to a current account; instead, it has a separate account which is used only for the purposes of the credit line. You are free to repay your loan over the course of the duration of the credit line, particularly in periods where your revenues are higher.
