Objective

This programme provides an opportunity for ProCredit to gauge whether the participants’ skills and personal qualities are compatible with the way ProCredit works. The quality of our recruitment programme and the consistent training we provide will help us to ensure that our outstanding customer service is maintained.

The programme covers the following topics:

  • Core principles of banking, finance and economics

  • Key concepts in economic development, environmental management and globalisation

  • An introduction to customer care and banking services

  • Maths and accounting

  • Specific tasks and projects which develop professional and personal qualities, both as individuals and as team members.

  • ProCredit's business philosophy and history, which allows candidates to learn about the bank’s corporate culture and ethical principles, as reflected in the ProCredit Bank Code of Conduct and applied in our day-to-day operations.

Methodology

During the six-month programme, participants take dynamic and interactive courses characterised by open discussions, projects and group work, followed by practical exercises during which the concepts learned in the classroom can be applied. The nature of the programme involves giving the participants the unique experience of staying together with their classmates away from Pristina for certain periods of time. Therefore, flexibility and readiness to spend time away from home is a must. Full attendance during the entire programme is mandatory and dedicated involvement, both individually and as part of a group, is required.

Logistical Information

The programme lasts for six months with a new group of 30 participants starting each quarter. The training is organised centrally and mainly takes place at our training centre in Pristina; however, some of the modules are held for two-week periods away from the capital city. The candidates selected by ProCredit Bank to participate in the programme will receive a stipend during the six-month duration of the programme. The amount of the stipend can be adapted for people with work experience. For those participants who successfully complete the programme, there is a strong possibility that they will be offered employment with ProCredit Bank Kosovo. However, there are no legal obligations for either the bank or the candidate to enter into such a relationship.

In case of unsatisfactory performance, participation in the course can be ended by either party at any point with one week’s notice.
