ProCredit Bank plants 452 trees on the University of Prishtina campus

As a bank that recognises its responsibility towards the environment on a daily basis, ProCredit Bank planted 452 trees on the University of Prishtina campus today.

More than 113,703 m2 of public space were greened and will be outfitted with benches and wastebaskets, thus transforming this area into a comfortable park for citizens of the city to spend time in.

This investment by ProCredit Bank was made possible through a collaboration with the Municipality of Prishtina.

Investing in this park reflects the need for more green public areas in Kosovo. Furthermore, this action highlights the continued contribution of ProCredit Bank to the environment and reinforces its strategy as a bank that develops, encourages, and implements environmental policies through concrete projects that are greatly beneficial to the community.

“Through this investment, we as a bank aim to contribute to the expansion of green spaces, which is very much needed in the capital city. This investment is part of a project to also increase the number green spaces in many other cities throughout the country, thus representing a total investment of more than 1,000  trees planted and the greening of over 128,000 m2  of public space,” said Visar Paçarada, Managing Board Member of ProCredit Bank.
