Pristina 10 October 2006 – With the motto “ProCredit even closer to you!”, the first bank in Kosovo, ProCredit today inaugurated its first sub-branch in Shtime!
The Shtime sub-branch will offer bank services to more than 35.000 people and many businesses that have established their activities in that region, starting from opening bank accounts and getting various loans, while focusing on loans for improving housing conditions, small business loans, agricultural loans, etc!
“The opening of the sub-branch in Shtime is part of our policy to be where there is a need for our bank services. Simply to be as close to the clients as possible so that we can their everyday banking as easy as possible,” says Ilir Aliu, deputy director of ProCredit Bank.
Aliu added that the opening of the sub-branch would be especially important for the economic development of the town of Shtime.
“Shtime municipality has the potential for local economic development, and that is why we have opened our doors here to provide financial support for small and medium businesses, especially in the area of agriculture!”
With the opening of the sub-branch in Shtime, ProCredit expands its network with 22 sub-branches and with 7 main branches throughout Kosovo, and there are plans to open several other branches by the end of this year.
ProCredit Bank continues to be a leader in the financial market in Kosovo both as far as deposits and the loans portfolio are concerned.
ProCredit numbers over 150.000 clients, with a total amount of deposits of citizens and organizations of over 369 million euros, or 42% of total deposits of the bank system in Kosovo.
ProCredit Bank has so far installed over 1.100 POS terminals and has issued over 140.000 international cards, whilst the number of ATMs throughout Kosovo has reached 52 so that the clients of our bank have 24/7 access to their accounts.
