ProCredit Bank in Theranda, too

Pristina, 10 April 2006 – ProCredit Bank expands its banking activities in Theranda by providing all the necessary bank services to the residents of this region.

Although up to now the ProCredit Bank office in Theranda operated as a support office for small and medium businesses by giving out loans, as of now the office has turned into a branch that offers all banking services.

“Theranda has the potential for development and we as ProCredit Bank are focused on this part of the country so that we can assist in the development of local economy,” said Zana Bokshi, head of ProCredit Bank in Theranda and Prizren.

So far, the residents of Theranda had to travel to nearby municipalities, such as Prizren, to carry out their banking services.

With the opening of the sub-branch in Theranda, ProCredit Bank expands its network to 20 sub-branches and 7 main branches throughout Kosovo.
 
ProCredit Bank continues to be a leader in the financial market in Kosovo both as far as deposits and the loans portfolio are concerned.
 
To be more precise, ProCredit numbers over 150.000 clients, with a total amount of deposits of citizens and organizations of over 340 million euros, or 42% of the total deposits in the banking system in Kosovo.

The total of loans issued by ProCredit Bank in 2005 has reached an amount of 155 million euros which make ProCredit the most reliable and the leading bank in the Kosovar market.
