Childrens Playground inaugurated in Gjakova

Prishtina, 15 January 2007 – ProCredit, the first and most successful bank in the market of Kosovo, has inaugurated the first playground for children in the city of Gjakova.

The implementation of the project for building a playground is a continuation of the ProCredit Bank’s policy toward the contribution for developing the various activities that help the social and educational advancement of Kosovar society.

“With respect to this policy, ProCredit constantly supports and helps initiatives that create a healthy social environment! That is why the building of the Playground for Children in Gjakova aims at developing the social abilities of children, which is very important for the country,” said Philip Sigwart, general director of ProCredit Bank.

Nonetheless, children seemed to have been the happiest with the opening of this playground. They expressed their most honest appreciation to ProCredit, saying that they hope other playgrounds will be opened for the children of other cities of Kosovo. Their parents also voiced their honest appreciation for the initiative of ProCredit Bank.

The project was also supported by the Municipal Assembly of Gjakova, and ProCredit Bank continues to implement the project for building several playgrounds for children in other cities and towns of Kosovo.
