Prishtina, 22 January 2007 – ProCredit Bank, the most successful bank in Kosovo, has started this year with the opening of the new sub-branch in Kodra e Trimave neighbourhood, as part of the ProCredit Bank’s policy to be as close to our clients as possible, and to provide them with qualitative and efficient services.
Bearing in mind that ProCredit Bank is a Bank oriented toward the development and support of small and medium businesses, the senior officials of the bank have announced that the opening of this new branch in Pristina is aimed at stimulating and facilitating banking services toward the growth and development of these businesses which ProCredit Bank considers to have a bright future.
“We have concluded that Kodra e Trimave neighbourhood needs our banking services, because so far various branches in Prishtina have covered this part of the capital. Therefore, we have decided to open a new branch in Kodra e Trimave, only to bring our services as closer to the residents of this neighbourhood,” said Philip Sigwart, general director of ProCredit Bank. Sigwart added that in the upcoming months, ProCredit Bank plans to expand its network of branches throughout Kosovo.
With the opening of the branch in Kodra e Trimave, ProCredit Bank now numbers a total of 9 branches in the capital city.
ProCredit Bank continues to be a leader in the financial market in Kosovo both in the deposits and the loans portfolio.
More accurately, ProCredit numbers over 150.000 clients, with a total amount of deposits of citizens and organizations to over 380 million euros, or over 40% of the total deposits of the banking system in Kosovo.
ProCredit Bank so far has installed over 1100 POS terminals (Point of Sales) and has installed 55 ATMs throughout Kosovo, so that the bank clients can have 24/7 access to their funds.
