ProCredit Bank in Deçan, too

Prishtina, 1st February 2007 – As part of its policy to be as close to its clients as possible, today ProCredit Bank managers have officially inaugurated the new branch in the town of Deçan.

“With respect to this policy, in the coming months we shall open additional branches in other regions in Kosovo in order to facilitate the banking activities of our clients,” said Philip Sigwart, ProCredit Bank General Director.

ProCredit Bank has been present in Deçan region, with the entire gamma of its products. Moreover, despite an infrastructure that leaves much room for improvement, the bank was present even in the most remote villages of this municipality with the sole purpose of assisting those that have ideas of business development and generate personal incomes, for their families and for creating new jobs.

All this was made possible by the ProCredit Bank branch in Peja, and in order to facilitate the provision of banking services and to be as close to the needs of clients as possible, ProCredit opened a new branch in the town of Deçan thus increasing the overall number of branches in Kosovo to 32.

ProCredit Bank continues to be the leading and most reliable bank in Kosovo even 7 years after operation, and proof of this is the amount of deposits by our clients which has so far reached €390 million. This is a result of our constant efforts to promote a savings culture, as we are certain that this bring stability to our clients and certainly helps the overall economic growth of the country.

The loans portfolio in 2006 has increased by 39%, to €237.7 million allocated to 52,016 loans! Therefore, if we compare this data to the previous year, one can clearly notice a steady growth of the loans portfolio.
