Prishtina, July 2, 2007 - In our continuous efforts to create a healthy and stable banking system in Kosovo, ProCredit Bank the first bank in Kosovo, has increased their interest rates for savings account to 2%.

Savings account is an account that earns you interest for the money deposited in the ProCredit Bank. In addition to gaining interest, at the same time clients will have the flexibility of accessing their funds (cash) at any time without losing the interest for the period their funds were in the account.  Clients can access their funds at any ProCredit branch.  The interest is calculated on a daily basis and is credited to clients account once a year, and that is at the end of December.

ProCredit Bank also offers an option of automatic savings, more precisely an automatic transfer from the current account to the savings account on a certain date requested by the client.

“ProCredit Bank, in coherence with its strategy, continuously promoted a saving culture regardless of the amount, since we at Pro Credit Bank believe that this idea brings financial stability to the clients and drives the overall economy towards prosperity” declared Philip Sigwart Chief Executive Officer.

In addition, ProCredit Bank starting from June 2007 will offer savings account not only in Euros and Dollars, but also in Swiss Francs.
