Prishtina, July 16, 2007- After four weeks of contest, pupils from primary school “Yll Morina” from Gjakova, defeated their rivals from other regional primary schools to claim the winner’s price in ProKid Games 2007.
Second place went to “Ibrahim Mazreku” from Malisheva whether third place went to “Mazllom Këpuska” from Gjakova.
Some of the winners of those attractive games declared that they were happy for their victory, but most importantly for them was the participation in ProKid Games 2007.
"First of all for me the most important thing was that I do have a great summer this year, because this year has been the first time that our school participates in such amusing games. Although I did not go anywhere for my summer holidays, I did not miss it so much because ProKid Games offered me unforgettable memories. What was special about these games is that ProKid Games were accompanied by many other pupils not only from my city, but also from other cities from all over Kosova“- said one of ProKid winners.
“I wished for my school to win, but pupils from Gjakova, were better than us in the last game “My Bank”. Anyway, the most important thing for me was my attendance and participation in the ProKid Games 2007, because it is the third summer that ProCredit Bank organizes such games” said Adea from Malisheva.
More than 2,000 primary school pupils, from 40 schools throughout territory of Kosova participated in ProKid Games 2007. (Prishtine, Peje, Gjakove, Mitrovice, Gjilan, Prizren, Ferizaj)
During four ProKid editions pupils had a chance to try out their forces in four games.
“My Bank” was one of the most preferred and attractive game for the competitive kids.
The main aim of this game was to pass by a giant plastic dragon that was placed in the middle of swimming pool, to collect and bring small coins in the improvised “ProCredit Bank” castle for a given amount of time.
ProCredit Bank believes that by organizing such events and activities we are contributing in supporting children and sending a stronger social message to general public.
ProKid Games 2007 will be broadcasted on Sundays (July 15, 22nd, 29th – August 5th and 12th) starting at 10:00 am on Radio Television of Kosovo.
