ProCredit Bank launched educational brochure “How to approach a bank?”

Prishtina, June 06,2008 – Supported by Central Banking Authority of Kosovo, ProCredit Bank has launched an educational brochure named “How to approach a bank?” This brochure aims to furthermore explain banking operations to clients, help the public understand how to best communicate with the banking sector and its employees, in order to increase curiosity for essential questions regarding credit and the importance of savings.

“Kosovo banking market has been very dynamic on the last eight years. Ever since 2001, when banks started offering their products to retail customers, one of them being different variety of loans, the competition has become stronger. Now banks have started offering a large number of services and retail customers have started to think about new means of improving their lives, especially by loans. However, it seems that one important element is missing – educating the retail customers in order for them to better understand the banks’ offers and to be able to select products and services which are most suitable for them” - said Mr. Philip Sigwart General Director of ProCredit Bank

“It is a fact that banking services are developing so fast that customers are often confused by the diversity of the financial products/services that are offered. Therefore, any initiative aiming to explain to customers how a bank works and which financial products are offered, from my point of view it is a positive step forward.  It is indeed an initiative that need to be expanded and supported - said Hashim Rexhepi, General Director of Central Banking Authority of Kosovo.

This brochure, apart from informing clients about banking services and products, also helps clients chose the bank that best fits their needs.

Educational Brochure “How to approach a bank?” in its first chapter explains the basics of banking operations, to continue with most frequently asked questions about credit and savings.
