Prishtina, 12 May 2011 - In order to further support local businesses, ProCredit Bank has loosened the conditions for loans earmarked for this sector which is considered as one of the most important sectors for the country’s economic development.
Through business loans, ProCredit Bank aims to support and stimulate: the expansion of businesses, increase their profitability, and/or start producing / manufacturing.
"Considering that businesses in Kosovo are among the main economic activities and also the sector which generates a considerable number of jobs, ProCredit Bank has already taken steps to loosen loan conditions for small businesses, agribusinesses, and large businesses by reducing the annual interest rates to an average of 2% depending on the amount, duration or type of business loan, " said Florin Lila, Deputy General Director of ProCredit Bank.
Otherwise, ProCredit Bank was the first bank in Kosovo, which began offering access to financing for local businesses in order to assist their further development.
To date, ProCredit Bank has disbursed about 117,134 loans in support of the local business sector. These results clearly demonstrate the contribution of our bank in the development of the economy.
