Prishtina,3 January 2012 – ProCredit Bank welcomed the first baby born in each region just after midnight on 1 January with the gift of a savings account.
A ProKid savings account worth EUR 500 was awarded to the first newborn in each of the seven regions of Kosovo: Prishtina, Mitrovica, Prizren, Peja, Gjakova, Gjilan and Ferizaj.
ProCredit Bank gave the gift of the seven savings accounts to wish a happy and healthy life to the first seven Kosovo newborns to ring in the New Year. At the same time, the gesture was intended to highlight the importance of saving for the future.
Representatives of ProCredit Bank distributed the presents in maternity centres, congratulating the mothers of the newborns and wishing them a long and happy life for their babies.
This initiative continues ProCredit Bank’s tradition of awarding presents to children during the New Year’s festivities.
