Prishtina, 5 July 2012 – As part of its assessment of excellence in the banking sector, the prestigious financial markets magazine, “Euromoney”, has named ProCredit Bank the “Best Bank in Kosovo 2012.”
The award was based on the bank’s quality of service, innovative practices and outstanding financial performance.
Euromoney awards are the most prestigious in the financial world and are given to the leading banks and financial institutions in more than 100 countries. This year, and for the third consecutive year, Euromoney announced that ProCredit Bank is the best bank in Kosovo.
“I am pleased to inform our clients and the public of Kosovo about this wonderful news for the largest bank in the country. This award is proof that our responsible approach to banking is an essential part of our service to our private and business clients,” said Mr. Ilir Aliu, Director General of ProCredit Bank.
“Our banking operations are based on, and adhere to, a number of principles, such as transparency in our communication with clients, non-promotion of consumer loans, services based on thorough financial analysis and an understanding of each client’s individual situation,” added Mr. Aliu.
According to Mr. Aliu, the award recognises the excellent work by the bank’s more than 1,000 employees, as well as the trust that clients have placed in our institution.
ProCredit Bank also acknowledged that the Euromoney award was a sign of the standards achieved in the banking sector in Kosovo, as well as the sustainability of the financial system in our country.
