Prishtina, 12 September 2012 - Since May 2012, ProCredit Bank has been taking part in a unique environmental initiative aimed at helping people with disabilities to purchase wheelchairs: the bank collects plastic bottle caps, which are then redeemed at recycling facilities.
The proceeds go towards buying wheelchairs for people who cannot afford them.
ProCredit Bank was pleased to join this initiative started by Kushtrim Ahmeti, a university student who has changed the way that environmental protection is viewed by initiating recycling projects to raise money for people with disabilities.
By participating in this initiative, ProCredit Bank employees and clients are contributing to a cleaner environment while at the same time providing support to people with disabilities and to their families.
