• Customer deposits have once again shown the high level of confidence of Kosovo citizens in our bank - where total deposits by the end of 2013 amounted to 665.6 million euro
• ProCredit Bank’s key to success in 2013in the field of business clients was the establishment and strengthening of its market position as the first choice for small and very small business customers, as well as the provision of quality banking services to medium business clients - the total loan portfolio of ProCredit Bank at the end of 2013 amounted to 471.2 million euro.
• Businesses of agricultural producers and local food processors s are a very important group for ProCredit Bank, which through incorporation in this collaborative chain forms indispensable partnerships for the buildup/sustainable long-term development of the agricultural sector in general. Implementation of staff professional development concept and investments in training
• ProCredit Bank is one of the few institutions in Kosovo with a clear employment and staff professional development program.
• In 2013, we invested around EUR 860,000.00 in training and developing our staff. Respectively, the average annual investments in training per employee were about 1000 euro. Translated into average training days per employee, each employee was trained for 10 days during 2013.
• In 2011, we launched a unique program for the Kosovo market “The young bankers’ program”, a comprehensive training and development opportunity for qualified professionals and fresh graduates from universities or other higher education institutions.
Modernization and automation of banking services
• E-Banking enjoyed the most significant improvements over the years with the introduction of the taxes and utilities payment facilities, and of the online version of e-banking. The municipal services payment facility allows customers to pay bills from their home or office by performing only few actions.
• Establishment of self-service corners, with the most prominent function of cash deposit service through ATMs. Simultaneously, these corners were also an important step bringing the bank closer to the long-term goal of passing some simple routine services from the branch to automated banking equipment.
• With the launch of e-Commerce, our bank became the first in the market to provide traders and businesses with the facility to accept online payments, enabling online sales of their products and services.
• The use of SMS banking services has also increased significantly.
The 2014 Perspective
ProCredit Bank, as the first choice of businesses in Kosovo, has undertaken a series of activities to ensure that businesses in Kosovo will continue to rely on our bank as the most trustworthy partner in their development.
In this regard, the bank's strategic focus in 2014 will be strengthening our relationship with customers by providing a complete series of services in the most efficient manner.
In addition, the advisory role of our staff will ensure that businesses get the best advice and best quality services. Our strategic goals for 2014 also include special focus on green lending, as we are convinced that this is the most responsible and long-term approach for the development of businesses and the economy.
On the other hand, we also focus on agricultural capital investments by adapting the bank's products to the needs of farmers, with the sole intent to facilitate their business activities.
ProCredit Bank will continue to provide excellent services in a responsible manner for private clients. This will be achieved by assigning appropriate personnel responsible only for private clients’ care. Investments in technology that will facilitate banking activities in the future will play an important role in our investment decisions in 2014 and beyond.
In general, we expect all our strategic objectives to be achieved through our most important asset: our staff. Therefore, training and professional development of our staff, with particular focus on ethical banking activities, will continue to be our highest priority.
This year we have started construction of the Prevalla Training Center in Prizren, which will serve as a regional training center for internal training of ProCredit Bank staff.
