GROUNDBRAKING OF KOSOVO’S TRAINING CENTRE

Prishtina, June 5, 2015 - On the 15th birthday of operating in Kosovo, ProCredit Bank has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Regional Training Center which will to be built in Prevallë near Prizren.
Training Center will provide advanced training courses which are designed to update and deepen the specialized knowledge of the regional ProCredit banks' employees, as to their fields of activity and also to enhance their analytical and interpersonal skills, including the training program for young bankers, a training program which is unique banking market in Kosovo.

Selection of Kosovo to build this center, shows the commitment that this bank has for Kosovo. This reflects the importance that this bank has in the development of the banking sector and the economic development of the country, "said Fehmi Mehmeti Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo.

Whereas, Samual Zbogar, EU special representative in Kosovo, in praising the ProCredit bank for its commitment in the investment of modern services, on this occasion said:
 "We are aware of the energy and funds that your bank invests in the education, not only of its staff, but indirectly also the users of banking services. Commencement of the training center construction, today in Sharr, is one of the most tangible evidences of the ProCredit Bank's commitment to education. The European Union will always emphasize the importance of education which enables citizens to actively participate in various activities of the society. Therefore, it is really encouraging to see that the ProCredit Bank as one of the most important European investors in Kosovo, is supporting education in this manner" said Samual Zbogar, EU special representative in Kosovo.
Moreover, ProCredit Bank Kosovo has invested approximately € 800,000 in the training and development of its employees in 2014, which translates into an average annual investment of € 1.150 per employee.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to investments in employee training, ProCredit Bank continually invests in banking technology advancement such as 24/7 Zone, a completely new concept for the banking market in Kosovo, with the sole aim of meeting the customers demand by offering access to our banking services at any time convenient for them - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Therefore on this 15th anniversary, the bank will invest around 10 million Euros in the long-term development of its personnel and further advancement of its modern banking platforms.

The building of the training center will be 3,300 m2, it will have 32 rooms, 3 teaching rooms and exterior and interior recreational spaces, and it will be built in accordance with the highest standards for environmental protection, as there will be investments in: thermal insulation, photo-voltaic system for energy production, solar system for water heating, heating facility with wood pellets.
