ProCredit Bank received the first prize at the awards ceremony for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Kosovo for 2015, at corporate level.
Out of the 14 companies that have applied with various projects bringing added value and positive effects to the society, ProCredit Bank was awarded the first prize thanks to its numerous educational / awareness raising activities in the field of environmental protection, while Rugove Company received the first prize under the Small and Medium Enterprises category.
Our ECO Project of environmental management internal system (water, electricity and paper) received the first prize, considered as the most creative and contributing project a bank can undertake to protect the environment by implementing a concrete and successful program by the employees of the Bank. In addition, aiming to raise the awareness of citizens for environment protection, ProCredit Bank has undertaken another environmental initiative, donating 150,000 cotton bags to the citizens of Kosovo, aiming to reduce the use of plastic bags.
ProCredit Bank, in the sphere of eco loans, is implementing for many years now a different educational approach to environmental protection, considering environmental protection as an important part of responsible business model and an integrated value into our banking philosophy.
Kosovo CSR Network is a member of the European Business Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Europe), which organizes annually the assessment of enterprises contributing to the improvement of economic and social welfare of society.
