Safety first

ProCredit Bank places great importance on: the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. The protection of bank account information through advanced security systems and measures against cyberattacks.
However, please be aware that the internet and email can be misused for illegal activities.

To avoid these risks, we recommend that you consider the following necessary measures:

Secure authentication

To protect your account during online payments, activate multi-factor authentication. Once you have done this, all future transactions will be confirmed in the mobile app via a one-time password generated in the MobileSign application.

The service will also enable you to:

  • Authorise online payments and confirm transactions via a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS.
  • Confirm e-Banking transactions by generating a one-time password on the Token device.

Your Sensitive Data

  • Create complex passwords by combining uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Avoid using the same password for different accounts, especially for banking services.
  • Never share sensitive information, such as: your password, credit card number, card PIN, or CVV2 code (found on the back of the card). ProCredit Bank will never request this information, neither by phone nor by email.

Secure devices

  • Install antivirus software and enable your firewall. Regularly update your devices’ operating systems.
  • Avoid using shared devices and public Wi-Fi networks when accessing banking services/online banking.

Safe browsing and logging out

  • Do not access your account by clicking on links received in unsolicited e-mails or messages claiming to be from the bank.
  • When visiting the ProCredit Bank website, check the address bar: Be sure to ensure that the address begins with “https://” and has the padlock symbol. The official domain of ProCredit Bank is “procreditbank-kos.com.” Always check the accuracy of the domain to avoid fraudulent websites.
  • Although the bank has a set timeframe for automatic logout, you should always log out manually after completing your transactions, especially if you share devices with others.

Monitoring account activity

Monitor your account activity so as to detect any possible instances of fraud at the earliest stage. We recommend checking your banking account at least once a week.
